I feel that it's a really good read. It talks about the good & bad points of each last gen system as well as the price of the systems, the recommended peripherals, & some recommended games to get. The only thing I don't like about that guide is that the Dreamcast isn't on there.
Also, the reason why I buy primarily last gen & retro games is because I don't really like spending $50-$60 on a new game. The only new games I buy are from the DS & the Wii.
