Game Developer's Conference 2009.

The things Nintendo has unveiled are:


-How the "Death Spiral" works. Financial Pressure + Less time + Poorer Sales + Poorer Quality = Death Spiral

-How the "Upward Spiral" works. Ideas are Everywhere + Personal Communication + Prototype Stage + Small teams + Multiple Projects + Trial & Error + mass production = Upward Spiral. Also called "Miyamoto's Way"

-How random employee kidnappping works. Read the article for more info.

-The creators of Warioware: Touched & Warioware: Twisted teamed up to work on a Rhythm game.

-Wii system version 4.0. You arn't limited to 1GB & 2GB SD cards anymore. The biggest SD cards you can use are the 32 GB cards. You can also download the content straight to the Wii's SD card & use them directly off the card with just a short loading time for both of these. The update can be downloaded today.

-Two Wiiware games: "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord" & "Final Fantasy IV: The After Years" will be coming to Wiiware soon. Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, & VI will be available for download on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan while the North American Virtual Console will get Final Fantasy I & IV. No word yet if Final Fantasy II, III, V, or VI will come to the North American virtual console.

-Two DSi games, "WarioWare Snaps", & "Moving Memo" will be coming to the Nintendo DSi store soon.

-Arcade Games will be coming to the Virtual Console. Mappy, Space Harrier, Star Force, The Return of Ishtar, Gaplus, Emeraldia, Solvalou, & The Tower of Druaga will be the 1st ones. Mappy, Star Force, Gaplus, & The Tower of Druaga are already available on the North American Virtual Console Today.

-A new Legend of Zelda game will be available for the DS later this year. It's called "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks" though the name might be changed later on.
