Here's what Nintendo of America says (I changed the person's name in the email) :
"Dear X,
We understand your concern about the lack of service on the VC as of late. Due to sales numbers being far greater recently on Wiiware than on Virtual Console, we have decided to steer in the direction of WiiWare.
Also, we in America have NO plans to update the Internet Channel or the Nintendo Channel. We hope you understand”
Wow. So now Nintendo has officially said that Wiiware is a bigger priority than the Virtual Console. Not that's a bad thing or anything since they favor Wiiware over VC since last year so it's nothing new.
That person who emailed Nintendo was not me.

Blue Ocean Strategy
What's a Blue Ocean strategy? According to one of the videos here, it's a method to make competition irrelevant by creating a leap in value for both the company & it's customers. Nintendo has successfully used it with the Nintendo DS & the Wii. Yes, that means that the competition can do little, if anything to rival Nintendo. Not even Microsoft's Natal will stand much of a chance.
